Dealing with stress
People differ in the way they deal with stressful or challenging situations – and especially in how they regulate their emotions in such situations. The German Professor Julius Kuhl wrote a book about this in 1994, the title of which is:
Volition and personality: Action versus state orientation.
He also developed a test with which one can assess the different ways in which one reacts to stress. After you have filled in the questionnaire, you will receive more information on that topic.
